With an unconventional meet-cute on TikTok, a touch of whimsy and charm is woven all throughout Cameron and Ben’s love story. After Ben proposed in Maryland at his Grandmother’s home, planning for their elegant Spring wedding began. After finding our venue on The Knot, Cameron and Ben began planning long distance. The resulting event is full of Spring wedding inspiration, and we’re thrilled to be sharing it with you today!

Elegant Spring Wedding details

For their big day, Cameron and Ben leaned into the fresh and vibrant vibes of Springtime. The first wedding day must-have for the bride was photographer, Courtney Carney, to capture it all. Once they secured their favorite photographer, their focus went into a welcoming and fun environment for the day. To accentuate it all, a color palette of champaign, moss green, and touches of peachy pink were chosen. The resulting look provides all of the Spring Wedding Inspiration we need as we look ahead to next years weddings!

Another key element for this couple was connecting with one another and their family members meaningfully. To begin the day, the bride chose to have a sweet first look with her dad and opted for a first touch with her groom prior to the ceremony. We love this way to calm the nerves and have some quiet focus before the ceremony if you aren’t doing a first look!

Charming spring wedding ceremony

As the bride reflects, “The most special moments were walking down the aisle and sharing our hand-written vows with each other.” We loved this sweet ceremony and the joy of the couple seeing each other for the first time. The ceremony pavilion looked perfect. It was framed by a broad and slim floral installation with floral columns at the entrance of the aisle. The bridal party wore champaign dresses and medium brown suits. They were a subdued and elegant compliment to the couple as they exchanged their vows.

We asked Cameron about her hopes for their future as a married couple and she shared with us:

I’m looking forward to spending every day with my best friend and continuing to grow closer. In our future I see kids, grandkids and a life well-lived with lots of love, joy and happiness! 

Advice for happily ever after, even while wedding planning

Our bride shared with us the advice she would give to engaged couples, and how The Wilds experience was for her:

My advice would be to figure out what is most important to you and prioritize around that. Also, it’s never too early to start planning. There will always be a lot to do closer to the wedding so anything you can do ahead of time is beneficial. 

I can honestly say that every aspect of my day went above and beyond with The Wilds team! No request was too big or small and everything was set up perfectly – just how I had envisioned.

A perfect springtime reception

As guests entered, they found delightful touches curated by the couple. A photo wall with neon signs made for perfect photo ops. Tables had a customized newspaper with details about the day. A sweet scrap book from the couple was displayed at the audio guestbook table. And on the patio, four game stations were a delightful source of entertainment in the beautiful Spring weather.

At the close of the celebration the couple exited surrounded by sparklers. Their getaway car was Cameron’s dad’s red Corvette, an epic sendoff for his elegant spring wedding.
