Classic style, country details, and heartfelt moments during the reception make this Brown County wedding one to remember
For their classic country wedding, The Wilds Venue in Brown County, Indiana was the perfect place in the middle for the loved ones of Jessica and Cody. Clean aesthetics and friendly staff made them fall in love, and their Brown County wedding plan soon came together. Styling tips for a large bridal party
For large bridal parties, we are a big fan of classic styling, keeping things cohesive and chic for every loved one in the group. Jessica and Cody’s bridal party mastered this!
Groomsmen matched the groom in black and white tuxes with clean black suspenders. Jackets were worn for the ceremony for a beautiful formal ensemble and were removed after for a cool look to party in the warm weather. The ladies kept it romantic in blush bridesmaids gowns with varying shades and necklines to personalize and flatter each of Jessica’s closest girls.
For the bride and groom, classic outfitting was also the name of the day. Jessica’s sweetheart fit and flare lace gown combined with a full updo wasn’t only perfect for a warm summer day, but had her looking like a modern-day princess. Cody’s black and white tux brought all of the classic handsome aesthetics to the forefront, perfectly framing and complimenting his bride at the ceremony.
A Summer Brown County Wedding Ceremony
Indiana beauty was on display for this classic country wedding. Our modern farmhouse aesthetic was surrounded by beautiful skies with a warm breeze flowing through. Fans and constant shade keep our ceremony pavilion comfortable, even in the midst of summertime.
Decor throughout the day was kept simple, with a romantic drape of chiffon over the ceremony gazebo. Florals were lovingly created by the groom’s mother with help from the bride and her mom. A sweet classic country wedding floral palette of sunflowers, pink roses, and daisies were the perfect color pop for the bridal party.
Once guests found their seats, the classic country wedding ceremony began. Mother’s of the bride and groom lit candles for their unity ceremony, and soon after, Cody had his first look of his stunning bride. With vows made, the unity candle lit from both original flames, and rings exchanged, the pair were soon husband and wife and the celebration began!
A heartfelt welcome at this classic country Wedding Reception
Guests were welcomed into the reception hall, decorated with florals by the groom’s mother and our rental decor. Lanterns and garland were woven onto guest tables for a simple but beautiful reception decoration. Lighting from MAC Events painted the wall in Jessica’s signature shades of pink and purple to set the perfect party mood.
The party was kicked off with Cody and Jessica’s entrance to their classic country wedding reception. Their first dance transitioned sweetly into the cake cutting, allowing an easy pace for all as the party unfolded.
The official welcome and blessing were given by the bride’s father, a wonderful singer and songwriter. He wrote and beautifully performed two songs for his daughter’s big day and to celebrate the start of her own family together with Cody. It was an exceptionally sweet moment, and one we won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
As the delicious dinner provided by One World Catering was completed, the couple and guests alike enjoyed flowing between the indoor and outdoor patio to enjoy a truly remarkable sunset on our sweeping lawn.
An exceptional Brown County Wedding Reception
Following dinner, it was time to party! The floor was opened with an anniversary dance and quickly flowed into an energetic dance party thanks to the talents of MAC Events. Guests looking to commemorate the night greatly enjoyed the photobooth with our signature mural as the backdrop, painted by Creative In Bloom.
The night came to a close with a sparkler-lit dance under the stars for Cody and Jessica. Their loved ones surrounded them for one last time before they took off as husband and wife.
