Allison and Ben’s vibrantly colorful fall, Southern Indiana wedding is full of impeccable style and personal details
For their colorful Autumn Wedding, Allison and Ben stayed entirely true to themselves. With personal design notes and inclusion of her beloved dog, veterinary bride, Allison, merged her passions with their mutual love of the outdoors. Lush florals, bright pops of color, and so many joyful moments, make this a standout wedding here at The Wilds, coordinated and planned by preferred vendor, Lisa Von Horton.
A vibrant Wedding celebration full of heartfelt moments
For their autumn wedding, Allison and Ben took advantage of the vibrant autumn colors surrounding our Brown County venue. Preferred vendor and highly sought-after wedding photographer, Jessica Strickland, eloquently captured the couple and every incredible detail. Jessica’s signature, energetic tones perfectly mirroring the spirited couple’s lively Fall palette.
The day began with Allison donning her incredible ballgown from Wedding Studio Carmel in our bridal suite. Her lace bridal booties were the perfect shoe, complimenting her lace bodice while providing ease of movement all day long. Allison’s burgundy-clad bridesmaids helped her with the final details before her heartwarming first look with her father.
Next, it was time for her emotional first look with Ben. The pair chose to exchange vows back-to-back, and the moment was unforgettable. As they turned for the big reveal, it was clear this was going to be a day to remember.
A joyful happily-ever-after ceremony among the forest
Our ceremony pavilion was looking extra magical for Allison and Ben. The endless, surrounding Yellowwood Forest was putting on a colorful show. It undoubtedly made the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Floral arrangements by Crown and Cook Florist created vibrant framing for our couple. As did the event welcome sign in vibrant burgundy by Creative in Bloom.
For veterinary bride, Allison, a must-have for her wedding was to have her sweet pup involved. It was a heartwarming procession to the altar with the ring bearers serving as her dogs guide. However, the radiant bride stole the show.
With lots of happy tears and joy radiating for their guests, the pair were officially wed. Then, Ben swept Allison off to enjoy the moment! For this outdoors-loving, adventurous couple, our location served as the perfect little escape without having to travel far to soak in their just-married moments.
A jaw-dropping colorful fall wedding reception design
Meanwhile, guests were treated to cocktails by Upland Brewing Co. and delicious hors d’oeuvres by Kahn’s Catering to kick off cocktail hour on the open air patio. With heaters and fireplaces for seasonal comfort and ample seating for those who wish to lounge, this space makes for a wonderful location for guests to mingle during your romantic portraits.
Upon entering our reception great room, the colorful autumn wedding design unfolded to perfection.
Tables were draped with lush and vibrant garlands, intermingled with The Wilds romantic golden lanterns for a little extra sparkle. Guests were greeted by a bespoke seating chart of burgundy and gold calligraphy place cards, fixed with the couples’ bespoke paw print wax seal stamp. Another homage to this pet-passionate couple came at the bar. Signature drinks named after their cats were featured on the menu alongside the pair’s portraits.
With the entry of the couple, the party began! An unforgettable night was had by all. In conclusion, Allison and Ben enjoyed one final dance on our patio as the evening came to a close.
