Cari and Alex bonded over their shared love of exploration and connecting meaningfully with people. When they started planning their own Indiana wedding, they knew that they wanted to create a celebration that was all about love, laughter, and good food. Taking advantage of our Stay Wilds rentals conveniently located on The Wilds property, they were able to soak in each of those elements with their bridal party at the start of the day. Glam was provided by Something Blue Stylists who brought fresh-faced beauty and easy romantic hair to bride, Cari.

The pair opted for an intimate first look, and took a quiet moment to themselves to exchange their vows and set their focus for the day.

Must-have florals brought the classic romance

They prioritized having a great party and chose a classic pink and white floral palette to create a romantic and sweet atmosphere. One of their early must-have vendors was Cathy Teeters Beautiful Weddings for florals. Cathy is one of our local favorites and perfectly captured the classic romantic feel that bride, Cari, was dreaming of. Cari and Alex also made sure to include personal touches throughout the event, with a bespoke neon sign photo backdrop and a signature cocktail menu that they created together.

On their wedding day, Cari and Alex were surrounded by their closest loved ones, all of whom were excited to celebrate their love. The ceremony was heartfelt and emotional, and the reception was a non-stop party. Sweet toasts were shared by both sets of parents and members of the bridal party. A personal touch kept family members close to heart with family heirloom champaign flutes, custom engraved for Cari and Alex’s wedding day. The couple danced the night away with their guests and made memories that will last a lifetime. A beautiful crescendo came with a last dance surrounded by loved ones under the cafe lights of our patio.
