Sarah and Tyler carried design cues from their classic outfitting to create a cohesive and luxurious experience for their guests. Starting with the groom’s navy blue suit, the color was a fresh anchoring tone amidst a light color palette which leaned into ivory, white, and diffused pinks and purples. Personalized calligraphy ribbon place cards by Creative In Bloom were the perfect pop of color on the welcoming table arrays. They beautifully complimented the farmhouse style tabletops and elegant floral arrangements by Artful Blooms.

Sarah’s accessories brought touches of glam which were echoed in gold accents throughout the reception decor. When it came time for the wedding ceremony, the pavilion’s open and airy feel made for the perfect setting, no matter the weather. With their logistics covered seamlessly, they were free to enjoy and to be totally focused on the moment with family and friends around them as they exchanged their vows. Tyler’s only wish for the wedding was to have his grandpa, Earle, officiate; a non-negotiable that has left them with lasting memories.

Tyler and I decided to do a love letter ceremony, where we exchanged private letters penned for one another. We sealed them and placed them in a personalized, hand engraved keepsake box. This moment was also so special for me personally because I had our string quartet play “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban while we read and sealed the love letters. This was a favorite song of my late grandfather and my way of incorporating him into our wedding.

A vintage Rolls Royce from Brown Classics was the chic arrival vehicle for the groom and getaway car for the newlyweds. The pair took it out for a spin on the grounds of The Wilds during their portraits. Meghan Permuda captured some true old Hollywood romance in the midst of Southern Indiana’s rolling hillsides.
